Spotlight on Library Collections: Holiday Books

It's never too early to think about...holidays! We've got a holiday book for, well, most occasions!

So, where do we hide the holiday books? Start by finding the youth services, i.e. information desk, in the children's area. Wave at the friendly librarian! Now walk towards the children's area, with the fun trains and the duplos and...stop at the shelf on your right. Holiday books!

You can also sneak around from the back, past the bulletin board. What kind of holiday books do we have? We have some general or specific holidays, like Chinese New Year and holidays around the world. We have Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Passover, and Easter. They're all in chronological order - most of the time! The second shelf is ALL Christmas books! Have a blast celebrating Christmas in August, or get a head start on some fun Christmas crafts!
