Suggestion: Get more computers [rest of comment removed]
Asides from your inappropriate language, we agree! Unfortunately, like most libraries, we have to do the best we can with the technology we have. Ideally, of course, we'd like to replace all our outdated computers, get new ones to fill in the gaps, etc. Maybe you'd like to join the technology committee of the Library Board and give them some input or fundraising suggestions?
Suggestion: The Extraordinary Adventures of Alfred Kropp
These were on my "wishlist to get when bags of money fall on my head" but I have moved them to the summer order list, so keep an eye on the shelves around May or June!
Suggestion: Hot Pepper Weenie
I am guessing you are thinking of David Lubar's Battle of the Red Hot Pepper Weenies and sequels. Great minds think alike! I have it on the order list for the summer!
Suggestion: Cul-De-Sac Kids by Beverly Lewis
We're not adding any new series right now, but I'll put this on the suggested list for the future. Meanwhile, you can request them from several other libraries in the system - or try some of the Christian-themed mysteries we have in our library, such as the Mandie collections by Lois Leppard, Adventures in the North Woods by Lois Johnson, or Sugar Creek Gang by Paul Hutchens. You might also like some of our other mysteries series, such as Ron Roy's various series (A to Z Mysteries, Capital Mysteries, Calendar Mysteries) Cam Jansen, Jigsaw Jones, or Encyclopedia Brown.
